1. Who collects your information
Kaizer Chiefs (Pty) Ltd (“Kaizer Chiefs”) is conducting this online market research and will collect, store and process the personal information you provide when taking part.
Your information will only be processed for the purposes explained in this Privacy Notice and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
2. Why we collect your information
We collect and process information to conduct market research and better understand people's:
· needs and preferences;
· behaviours and experiences;
· perceptions of brands, products and services; and
· views on potential products, services, communication and customer experiences.
The information will be used to understand the research findings and help inform potential future products, services, customer experiences and communication.
Your participation in this research will not result in your information being used to market or sell products or services to you.
3. What information we collect
Depending on the questions you answer, we may collect information such as your:
- name;
- surname;
- cellphone number;
- survey responses;
- age group;
- gender;
- province;
- household or dependant information;
- insurance-related experiences and preferences; and
- other information you choose to provide during the research.
We will only collect information that is reasonably necessary for the purposes of the research.
4. Prize draw information
At the end of the research, you may be given the option to enter a prize draw.
Entering the prize draw is completely voluntary and is not required to take part in the research.
If you choose to enter, we will ask you to provide your name, surname and cellphone number again for the purpose of the competition. You may also provide an email address. These details will be used for your competition entry, regardless of the details you provided earlier in the questionnaire.
Your competition entry information will be shared with Yeet Marketing, who will administer the competition, conduct the lucky draw and identify and contact potential winners.
If you are selected as a potential winner, Yeet Marketing may ask for additional information, such as proof of identification, where reasonably necessary to verify your identity, age and eligibility.
Once a potential winner has been successfully verified, the information reasonably necessary to fulfil the prize will be provided to Kaizer Chiefs, who will arrange for the prize to be couriered to the confirmed winner.
Your competition information will only be used for the purposes of administering the competition, verifying winners and fulfilling prizes. It will not be used for marketing or sales because of entering the competition.

5. How we use your information
Kaizer Chiefs will collect, store and process the information submitted through the online questionnaire.
The questionnaire responses will be used to compile the findings from the online research into an aggregated and/or anonymised research report.
The report will be shared with Yeet Marketing, who will use it together with findings from the other research activities to support the analysis and reporting of the overall research.
Yeet Marketing will not receive identifiable individual questionnaire responses through this reporting process.
Your personal information will not be sold or used for unrelated purposes or for marketing or sales because of participating in the research.
6. How we share your information
Your personal information will be treated as confidential and handled securely.
Kaizer Chiefs may share personal information with service providers where reasonably necessary to host, operate or securely store the online research, or where required or permitted by law.
Only aggregated and/or anonymised research findings will be shared with Yeet Marketing and a third party for the purposes of the overall research and analysis. Yeet Marketing will not receive identifiable individual questionnaire responses for this purpose.
If you separately choose to enter the prize draw, your name, surname and cellphone number collected through the questionnaire, together with any additional competition information you provide, will be shared with Yeet Marketing for the purpose of administering the competition, conducting the lucky draw and identifying and contacting potential winners.
This competition information is separate from the aggregated/anonymised research report.
7. How long we keep your information
Kaizer Chiefs will keep your personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for any period required by law.
After that, the information will be securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified, as appropriate.
Competition information held by Yeet Marketing will similarly only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the competition and meet applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
8. Your rights
Taking part in the research is voluntary.
In accordance with POPIA, you may, where applicable:
· ask to access the personal information held about you;
· ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected;
· object to certain processing of your personal information;
· ask for your personal information to be deleted where applicable; or
· withdraw your consent to further processing where processing is based on your consent.
You can withdraw your consent by emailing info@kaizerchiefs.com using the subject line “Research Consent Withdrawal”.
You can also use this email address if you have questions about the personal information collected through the online research.
Withdrawing your consent will not affect any processing that was lawfully carried out before you withdrew it.
If information has already been anonymised and can no longer reasonably be linked to you, it may no longer be possible to identify and remove your individual responses from the research findings.
