1. The Competition
Kaizer Chiefs (Pty) Ltd ("Kaizer Chiefs" or "the Promoter") is giving eligible participants in its supporter market research the opportunity to enter a lucky draw to win an official Kaizer Chiefs 2026/27 Home or Away Jersey ("the Competition").
The market research and Competition administration are being conducted by Yeet Marketing on behalf of Kaizer Chiefs.
Participation in the research does not automatically enter a participant into the Competition. Participants must separately choose to enter the Competition after completing the applicable research questionnaire.
No purchase or payment is required to enter.
By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Competition is conducted in accordance with applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
2. Competition Period
The Competition starts on 26 September 2026 and closes at 24h00 on 7 October 2026 ("Competition Period").
Only valid entries received during the Competition Period will be included in the lucky draw. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
3. Who may enter
The Competition is open to individuals who:
· are 18 years or older;
· ordinarily reside in South Africa;
· have participated in the applicable Kaizer Chiefs supporter research;
· have voluntarily opted into the Competition; and
· have provided the information required to enter the Competition.
Directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Kaizer Chiefs, Yeet
Marketing, suppliers directly involved in the Competition, and any other persons excluded
under applicable law may not enter or win a prize.
4. How to enter
After completing the applicable research questionnaire, eligible participants will be given the option to enter the Competition.
To enter, a participant must:
4.1 select the option confirming that they wish to enter the lucky draw; and
4.2 provide their name, surname, cellphone number and email address.
Entry into the Competition is voluntary and is separate from participation in market research. Participants are not required to enter the Competition to participate in or complete the research.
Only one Competition entry per person will be accepted. All valid entries received through the different approved campaign posts, platforms, links or research channels will form part of one consolidated Competition entry pool. Entering or accessing the research through more than one post, platform, link or channel will not give a participant additional entries or increase their chances of winning.
5. The Prizes
A total of ten (10) prizes will be awarded.
· five (5) official Kaizer Chiefs 2026/27 Home Jerseys; and
· five (5) official Kaizer Chiefs 2026/27 Away Jerseys.
Each winner will receive one (1) jersey.
Each jersey has an approximate retail value of R1,399, giving the Competition a total
approximate retail prize value of R13,990.
The Home or Away Jersey awarded to each winner will be determined as part of the prize allocation process. A winner may not exchange their allocated Home Jersey for an Away Jersey, or vice versa.
Jersey sizes are subject to availability. Kaizer Chiefs will make reasonable efforts to provide each winner with their preferred available size; however, a specific size cannot be guaranteed.
The prizes may not be exchanged for cash and may not be sold or resold. No winner will be required to make any payment to receive their prize.
6. Winner selection
All valid and eligible Competition entries received during the Competition Period will be combined into one consolidated entry pool and entered into a random lucky draw.
The draw will take place on 28 October 2026.
A total of ten (10) potential winners will be selected at random from all valid and eligible entries. Five (5) Home Jerseys and five (5) Away Jerseys will be randomly allocated among the ten potential winners.
The platform, social media post, campaign link or research channel through which a participant entered will have no bearing on the winner-selection process.
The Competition and winner-selection process will be conducted and documented in
accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Contacting Potential Winners
Yeet Marketing will contact potential winners using the cellphone number and/or email address provided when entering the Competition.
Potential winners may be required to provide reasonable proof of identification to verify their identity, age, eligibility and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that the contact information they provide when entering the Competition is accurate.
A potential winner must respond and provide any reasonably requested verification information within three (3) business days of being contacted.
The prize may be forfeited, subject to applicable law, and another potential winner may be selected by random draw from the remaining valid and eligible entries if a potential winner:
· cannot reasonably be contacted,
· does not respond within three (3) business days,
· fails the verification process,
· is found to be ineligible or
· has not complied with these Terms and Conditions.
A potential winner will only be confirmed as a winner once the applicable verification process has been successfully completed.
8. Prize allocation and fulfilment
Once a potential winner has been successfully verified, the information reasonably necessary to fulfil the prize will be provided to Kaizer Chiefs.
Kaizer Chiefs will arrange for the winner's jersey to be couriered to the confirmed delivery address provided by the winner at no cost to the winner.
The winner is responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Reasonable efforts will be made to successfully deliver the prize. Where delivery cannot be completed because the winner supplied incorrect or incomplete delivery information, Kaizer Chiefs or Yeet Marketing may contact the winner to obtain corrected information and arrange a further reasonable delivery attempt.
Jersey sizes remain subject to availability.
9. Prize conditions
Prizes are awarded as stated in these Terms and Conditions and
· cannot be exchanged for cash;
· cannot be substituted by a winner for another product;
· are subject to jersey size availability;
· are for the winner's personal use; and
· may not be sold or resold.
If a particular prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the reasonable control of Kaizer Chiefs, Kaizer Chiefs may, where permitted by law, provide a replacement prize of substantially similar or greater value.
Any replacement will be handled in a manner that does not unfairly disadvantage the affected winner.
10. Fairness of the Competition
All valid and eligible Competition entries will be treated equally in the lucky draw.
A participant's province or place of residence, research responses, opinions expressed during the research, insurance status, demographic information, or platform, post or approved campaign link through which they accessed the research will not influence their chance of being selected as a winner.
Winners will be determined by random selection from the pool of valid and eligible Competition entries.
11. Personal information and Privacy
Personal information provided when entering the Competition will only be processed as reasonably necessary to:
· administer the Competition;
· manage Competition entries;
· conduct the lucky draw;
· identify and contact potential winners;
· verify winner identity and eligibility; and
· issue and deliver the prizes.
Yeet Marketing will administer the Competition, conduct or facilitate the lucky draw, and identify and contact potential winners. Once a potential winner has been verified, the personal information reasonably necessary to fulfil the prize will be shared with Kaizer Chiefs, who will arrange the issuing and courier delivery of the jersey.
Additional personal information, such as proof of identification and delivery details, may be requested from potential winners where reasonably necessary to verify their identity, age or eligibility and to fulfil the prize.
Personal information provided for the Competition will not be used for marketing or sales purposes because of entering this Competition.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"), and the applicable Privacy Notice.
12. Publicity and use of winner information
Winners may be invited to participate in publicity relating to the Competition, including photographs, social media content or other promotional activities.
Participation in any publicity is voluntary. A winner may decline to participate in publicity without affecting their right to receive their prize.
Where separate consent is required for the use of a winner's image, name or other personal information for marketing or promotional purposes, such consent will be obtained separately.
13. Disqualification and invalid entries
Kaizer Chiefs and/or Yeet Marketing may verify entries and may disqualify an entry where there are reasonable grounds to believe that:
· the participant does not meet the eligibility requirements;
· false or misleading information has been provided;
· the participant has attempted to submit multiple entries in breach of these Terms and Conditions;
· the entry has been manipulated, automated or submitted fraudulently;
· the participant has interfered or attempted to interfere with the Competition or draw process; or
· the entry otherwise does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Any decision to disqualify an entry will be made reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
14. Changes, suspension or cancellation
If circumstances outside the reasonable control of Kaizer Chiefs or Yeet Marketing materially affect the Competition, the Competition may be amended, suspended or cancelled where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
